Warhammer 40000 Ork boyz #1 - profile

This was my first attempt with a miniature painting and I've found it very satisfying.

I used Citadel colors suggested on the box and to add some metal effect special paints I own. No stickers 'cause they seemed to me like cheating. ^^

I think I should do something for the base, but I'm a complete novice so any advice or link to a tutorial will be precious!

Most of all, I want to know your opinion!
